5-day Festival of Bharat begins in New Delhi
The first edition of the five-day Festival of Bharat is taking place from 4-8 February 2018 at the IGNCA and IGNCA lawns in New Delhi.
Supported by The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, The Indian Debating Union, and The Art of Living, The Festival of Bharat has been painstakingly curated as a 21st century tribute to the majesty and depth of India’s unique history and culture.
According to CITTI Media, the event is expected attract over 100,000 people to experience and enjoy live music, literature fest, move around cottage industry flea market, ‘Make in-and -for India’ exhibition, an organic food festival in a pretty garden setting, a fashion show, a celebrity TV talk show, an Indic fashion show, a morning yoga retreat, a gala dinner and awards evening, and an exquisite Bharatiya after-party. The event will feature some of India’s brightest and most influential movers and shakers from academia, politics, arts, business, sports and media.
This sets the stage for The Festival of Bharat to become not only the world’s largest multi-faceted event (music fest – literature fest – food fest – yoga retreat – fashion show – televised talk show – exhibition & flea market and gala awards) focussed on an Indian renaissance, but also the source of some of the most exciting cultural, entertainment and literary content broadcast to tens of millions via mass media platforms.
