IEIA to Launch ‘Skills Training and Certification’

23 May 2022: Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) is all set to launch a Pilot Project of Skills Training and Certification Program for Exhibition Stand Building/Construction for Beginner and Mid-level workforce. The programme will be launched on 4th June 2022 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), as announced by IEIA.

This would be the first ever Skills Training Program for the Indian exhibitions sector aligned to the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) in association with the Furniture and Fittings Sector Skills Council (FFSC) under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.

On-site skills training and assessment will be conducted at BIEC from 10:00 hrs onwards on the launch date for Stand building/construction segment-beginners and mid-level workforces.

IEIA invited nominations for enrolments for the Pilot Skilling Program at a nominal assessment fee of Rs.500 per candidate plus GST, but this offer is for a limited period, it being a pilot project. IEIA collectively step towards achievement of the first important milestone of its journey towards building a skilled eco system for the exhibitions sector in India.
